A downtown wedding one saturday afternoon. Last weekend i was able to help out a friend as her second shooter. it's been forever since i have shot as a backup and it was GREAT. i was doing what i love without any pressure. how perfect can it get? Sure, i don't get paid nearly as much but shoot.it was worth the break! I was able to step back and capture things from a distance- more of a photojournalistic point of view. A day at the park. Two cutie pies just turned 5 and to celebrate their mama asked me to take some photos! For an hour and a half we skipped around their neighborhood, played at the park and complained about how our feet didn't want to walk anymore. :) needless to say, these twins are completely adorable and flirtatious in their own way with the camera. happy birthday you little munchkins! A lot like love. Last weekend i shot a wedding in san antonio. the weather was CRAZY all day saturday up until 30 minutes before the outdoor ceremony. the couple decided to keep the wedding outside and it ended up being beautiful. sunny blue skies replaced the dark clouds and rain. it was amazing. Back from never land. In 5 weeks we traveled through: england. And i took about 5,000 photos. it was ridiculous. i loved every second and i would do it all over again. Accents ( i LOVED hearing them change from place to place). Pastries and coffee ( european. Coffee shops beat starbucks. The beautiful views. at one point in wales i looked around and realized that i was surrounded by a beach, mountains, and a quaint town. what the heck? People. in some places ( france. Like the sauna in finland.
