Saturday, May 8, 2010. Long time no blog! Courtney told me she was tired of seeing "Michael Sr. Married" on my blog for the last 6 months. Here is what has happened during that time:. 1 Michael Sr. is no longer married. Not joking. 2 We had a good Christmas, thank you. 3 We got floor seats to 2 jazz games- so fun to be up close! Sunday, August 9, 2009. We don't stay very long at the lake- we are off to the villages where Adriana used to live/work during summers at BYU. The first stop is a village way off the tourist trail. Marcos gave us a tour of the village. This is the grave of his cousin, who died trying to get to the US. She warmed up to me quickly, and we played with her kittens together. We visited another family that Adriana stayed with- the family with the cutest 5 girls you have ever seen. Here is the baby.

Sunday, August 9, 2009. After a LONG day of visiting the villages, we went back to our hotel at the Lake. The hotel was charming- rooms carved into the cliffside. Here is the hotel's private dock:. Monday, November 2, 2009. We went up the canyon for my first ever engagement photo shoot. I was surprised at how fun it was! They were good sports . . . "Okay, now I want you to climb up on the wall . . . ". I stole this pose from a photographer online. Thanks, whoever you are. This one's my fave. Looking through the outtakes, there wasn't a single bad shot of Michael. You can tell he has learned the art of making things look good on film. Im impressed. Mike looks just like his Dad. My lame-o myspace page.

Saturday, September 5, 2009. We went on a field trip Friday to the fountains at Gateway with Camille and her kids. Here's my hot and tired Jason escaping it all. We all took tennis lessons for a few months- thank you Ellie! I learned how to finally put top spin on the ball, and Bren and Jase could hit the ball back and forth maybe twice by our last lesson. So fun- I plan on starting up again in the spring. Bria's nickname is "Chubbers." Her thighs are like bread dough. I love to read your posts!

Sunday, August 9, 2009. Another early morning. We rode a horse/hiked up an active volcano- something that would never be legal in the US! It was genuinely dangerous, but without question the most amazing thing I have seen with my own eyes. A 10 foot river of lava, flowing right past us. Holy crap!
