Yesterday I found myself saying, “YumYum, why don’t we spend time in the present enjoying what we’re doing right now. Then later, we can enjoy what we’re doing then? I close my thoughts today with this famous hymn, that maybe for at least today, I will live the tune of its melody. This is the day. And be glad in it.

It was painted a different color than the normal white, and everything was in tupperware and labeled! My first thought was- I would cook if my pantry looked like that! Grab my button, share my blog! Tuesday, May 29, 2012. As punishment for staying up past curfew, or talking back - my parents would often take away social things. Mostly youth group. I remember crying, DYING for that social interaction. I remember my parents saying "it's not like we (insert something terrible and unrealistic)". I think I'm starting to get it. It's hard to be a parent, but oh my word- we are doing a good job. ScoobyDoo and I make an amazing team. YES! Why is this cute? Smiles @ 8 months.
