Thursday, July 14, 2011. The drive to Dubrovnik. From Hvar we took a catamaran back to the mainland where we rented a car. Less than 24 hours prior, thank you very much) and drove along the coast down to Dubrovnik. The drive was stunning. Absolutely gorgeous. I remember thinking to myself. That if there were a list of ‘best coastal drives in the world’ this would have to be one of them. Sadly for us today I don’t have a lot of pictures of said drive. Really cool with the rest of the car. This is also me.

If the live in and I were even remotely close to thinking about going back to a regular home…you know, one with a bedroom…the last few days has been enough keep us away for good. It feels like right now this dorm room, err crash pad, err loft is even more than we can handle. We have a mouse. In our storage unit. The eating my stuff and then pooping all over the place variety. The kind that refuses to be killed. The worst mouse ever. I hate this mouse.

Monday, August 8, 2011. Still need that cat. Just a little update on our mouse situation:. He’s still there. Tearing it up in our storage unit. We’ve now set seven traps. All of which claim “guaranteed success”. Yet so far the only thing the traps have successfully caught is the live in’s finger. Our next step…literally removing every single item from the storage unit and covering the floor in traps…again, no joke. August 8, 2011 at 6:08 PM. We had a similar issue, but there were four mice!

I wanted to start a revolving to-do list. Stuff besides the normal do the laundry and take out the trash to-do’s. Hopefully I’ll be crossing a few things off my list soon…check back to see…. Monday, April 20, 2009. Well, it has been far too long since our last blog! And lots has happened since. We are now well and truly settled back in England. We spent January packing up our stuff to send back, selling the rest, and enjoying our last few weeks in Sydney. We had a great visit from my aunt, uncle, cousin and her boyfriend and had fun showing them the sights. Our last day in Sydney was Australia Day where we celebrated in Hyde Park and a lovely meal at Darling Harbour with fireworks of course!
