In my "grown-up" years, I've developed an abnormal propensity for coconut. So in a rare moment of genius, I decided to give my banana cream pie a twist by adding coconut to it and voila! The sugar, cornstarch, salt, and egg yolks make a custard that needs to be cooked with milk. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 teaspoon coarse salt. 4 large egg yolks.

Crochet jewelry. I made this in silver as well, but my daughter wanted to wear that one. Starching snowflakes while we wait for election results.#crochet#snowflakes. Just finished making a memory bear. Teaching this scarf next Wednesday @4 pm at Michaels in Epping NH and Thursday @6pm at Michael’s in Newington NH. I had such a good time making these. Most are made with 1 skein of embroidery floss.
