Tuesday, 26 April 2011. Stafford Shite Old Bike Show. Went to the Stafford Classic Bike show. Weather was sunny. Birthday money was spent. Bikes were looked at. This Triumph on the Amal stand was so pretty I even forgave the heat wrap on the exhausts. 8V Triumph was for sale, didn't dare ask how much. Links to this post.

Tuesday, 21 June 2011. My FJ died a couple of weeks ago which means I needed a bike that actually ran in order to enjoy the summer. As I had a bit of cash I decided to buy a 1200 Sporty. Sunday, 16 October 2011. Went to Stafford yesterday. Went to the Stafford Classic and Mechanics (or what ever it's called) Show yesterday. Bought stuff (mostly tools). There was a lovely Triumph on the Metal Malarkey stand. Unfortunately I'm rubbish with cameras so this will have to do. Went to Stafford yesterday.

I'm building a TriBSA street tracker thing, in an old mushroom shed. This blog records my progress. Saturday, 22 June 2013. My bike has a 750 inlet cam, 650 exhaust cam (but I have no idea which 650) a crank from a unit 650 and timing wheels from god knows what. This has made me wonder if timing the cams using the marks on the cam wheels is a good idea so I decided to do the job properly and get out the degree wheel. I'm building a TriBSA street tracker thing, in an old mushroom shed. This blog records my progress. Wednesday, 28 August 2013. Progress. forks and side stand. Made a start on what I hope is the final stage of working on the forks, fitting the springs.
