It's almost like I'm caught in limbo, my mind tossing back and forth like a tennis ball. Alternating between constant inner turmoil and yet still with hopes of cathartic healing. Long legs, short steps. Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Exchanging storm clouds for sunset. Tonight I rediscovered what it means to feel wild and free. I'm not even sure I've felt that great in a long, long time. Pedaling a bicycle for about fourteen miles along the Portland riverfront is beautiful by itself, but doing it under a dusky sunset sky is nothing short of breathtaking. I'm not even sure I've felt that great in a long, long time. Friday, April 3, 2015. I was born in 1985. I always liked that, it made calculating my age seem way easier, since I can just count by 5's. I turned six 5's old. I think the hardest part about turning 30 is reconciling where my life is with where I imagined it would be. Expectations are such a crapshoot for me. I actually don't understand that saying at all, but crapshoot sounds like shit hitting the fan, so I'm using it literally here.). I thought I'd have a couple more kids by now. Turning 30 is no joke.
