Life in the Third Person: September 2014
http://lifeinthethirdperson.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, 28 September 2014. Not too long ago, I wrote this:. The chords of your laughter, unexpected,. Echo from the clouds above me. Like fragile light; dancing. Across the green tips of grateful trees. Briefly, I shuddered. Behind the bricked wall. Of the cemented dreams I have of us-. I had head your little song of life. But now I am smiling. Your fragile light has made me grateful. To see the world in colour.'. A panel from 'Blue Is The Warmest Colour' by Julie Maroh.super worth reading. All I know is...
Life in the Third Person: Adventures in Gaborone No. 1
http://lifeinthethirdperson.blogspot.com/2015/06/adventures-in-gaborone-no-1.html
Monday, 22 June 2015. Adventures in Gaborone No. 1. Y scholarship dreams finally came true and I'll be leaving Gaborone soon for Watertown, Connecticut. So, as a little prelude to an upcoming blog series, 'Adventures in Watertown,' I present my alpha and omega- Gaborone. We'll start off this journey with an essay from my English class. A City of Poets. 8221; But I think such a line of reasoning is narrow-minded madness: what excitement could not. Be found in a city that values beer over wine?

Monday, 6 July 2015. Adventures in Gaborone No. 2. I've been quiet lately. Don't we all need a little splash of blue from time to time? I'm sorry for the ranting. You see, I've been rather quite lately. Gaborone hasn't said a lot recently either. Don't I need a little splash of blue from time to time? Okay, let me stop being so abstract now. There was also, of course, my life in poetry, which continues to this day. In 'Adventures in Gaborone No. 1'. I mean, we have to grow up at some point right? For som...

Wednesday, 21 May 2014. For The Love Of Reading. Another silly debate tournament essay. For the Love of Reading. I read because I'm lonely. Or I'm lonely because I read. Either way, I read. But I think that's it- love of reading, is love of loneliness. They're inseparable companions, maliciously and bitterly in love. Mutual in every way possible. Oh, but you can read a book out loud to others.". Oh, but you can talk about the book to each other.". Oh but. I don't want to be lonely.". Links to this post.
Life in the Third Person: April 2015
http://lifeinthethirdperson.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, 19 April 2015. The car is full; time has only one direction, and its wheels stops in front of the school gates. The Poet cannot go home. He has to wait for his mother to pick him up. He decides to walk out the school gates to eat at the Chinese restaurant. It is placed conveniently outside the school. He orders some dumplings and some noodles, and then tells the waitress that he is going to buy a newspaper at the filling station while he waits for his meal. Links to this post.

Intentional living in the theatre and beyond. February 21, 2018. Of course I’m not divorcing that darling husband of 34 years. In fact, I’m sitting next to him on our couch watching the umpteenth night of Olympics solo ice dancing. If our marriage can survive that, then we’re home free. No, I’m talking about our divorce from our bank of 35 years -since we moved out to Los Angeles, in fact. They shall remain nameless, but their ever-loving-initials are B of A. Found this little tidbit online. I can see th...

Life in the Third Person
Thursday, 15 February 2018. Carefully Waiting for Carly Rae Jepsen to Knock on My Door and Whisper, Muse-like, "Run Away With Me". Run away with me. We. Could glimpse at new starlight. Stretch. The cold world into hand-hold. Kiss. Like that first album of yours I hated. Love. Like the second that is my life. Now. That we are into each other, we fold. Into. And like fresh life, we gasp at our newness. Young. And with the green betwen our heels. Heel. Kick like Annie Hall sings. Before. Links to this post.

Friday, April 21, 2017. Blockades in the road of Life. By the looks of it I'm not being as faithful as I thought I would be to writing more on my blog. It's funny how times just seems to slip through my fingers like sand. I haven't been wasting my time but I don't think I've been especially careful in managing it either! But after almost passing out while sitting on the couch, I knew that I had to find out what was wrong with me. I had a ton of tests done at the Cardiology office and it appears as if...

Life in the time of Ebola | Life in Liberia in the midst of Ebola crisis
Life in the time of Ebola. Life in Liberia in the midst of Ebola crisis. Ignorance is not a bliss. October 19, 2014. Humanity. It’s hard to make up my mind on it, whether to believe in it or not. It’s quite clear that masses are easily swayed, manipulated and co-opted. This is particularly easily done when fear rules. With fear masses can be controlled, creating slaves of our own inner monsters. And then there are individuals who hold ground. They aren’t that many. ON CAUSES OF THE EPIDEMIC. People in We...

The purpose of this post is to document the use of. In python. I have been focusing on python for a few weeks now and from my background in PHP I knew there must be some form type of "accessors" i.e. getters and setters syntax. Technically in python they are called properties and they are quite helpful. It is a tedious process to have to write literal getters and setters for every attribute of a class. Read more: Python properties. How easy is it to extend D3? Real easy if you want to just chain off the.
