Thursday, January 6, 2011. This is an exact conversation I had with Wyatt. To set the stage, I was driving him to school. He was in his carseat sitting next to Lauren. I was driving. Wyatt: Mommy, when do I get to marry Lauren? Mommy: Well, Wyatt, you never get to marry Lauren. Mommy: It's not about getting bigger. You can't marry Lauren because she is your sister,and we can't marry people in our family. Wyatt: Who am I going to marry then? Then there was silence, and no response so I looked back at him.

Saturday, July 27, 2013. Lauren, I have to share a story about you when you were two! One "person" that you became was Daddy Tyrone. Yes, I wrote it correctly. You were Daddy Tyrone. You didn't just call yourself that, but you also made us call you that too. Again, at first I thought it was a funny, but at times it was embarrassing. I came across this video taken in April 2010 at the beach. You were just over 2 1/2 years old. This is an example of how you insisted you were Daddy Tyrone.

Sunday, February 27, 2011. I am so behind on posts. :( This should have been a post from Christmas Break. In one weekend, she became my big girl. I know this is odd, but I was actually kind of sad. For some reason, it officially took her from my little baby to my big girl. I think it is because I know she is my last. Or, I currently think she is my last. Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Last night I was putting Wyatt to sleep. I was laying in bed with him, spooning him. I thought he was asleep until I heard this soft little voice say, "Thank You.". I responded with, "Your welcome buddy, but thank you for what? Wyatt replied, "Not you mommy. I was thanking God for giving me my mommy.". That is too sweet and a story worth remembering. Miss yall! I have lots to share about trips to the beach, the birth of a GIRL cousin - YES, Lauren has a GIRL (a cute one too), playdates. Special moments and more! UGA - 49 more days to kickoff! Our family went to a kick-off yesterday for the Georgia Bulldogs. It was fun watching the kids soak in life as a bulldog! Here is our day in pictures. Lauren loved chasing the bubbles across the field. What a fun day! The 4th of July.

Literally, the child will tell me she is going to dance class and she will go to the bathroom and twirl around while instructing herself on how to dance. More on this and her very active imagination later. Even posing with mommy required a dance pose. My mom was in heaven. It took her back to my first day of dance when I was just three years old.
