Experience growing up with a Mother who had Borderline Personality Disorder – Different to bipolar; but mental illness no less. My late mother was a Pharmaceutical Chemist. She worked in a Lab her entire career, developing medication. From Penicillin variants to the Vitamins we buy now. She was given anti-depressants. I harbored A LOT.

Day to day life of a Manic Depressive. What a Manic Episode looks like…. September 19, 2015. September 19, 2015. Yesterday started off like my usual day does. I got out of bed. Got showered. Dressed. Got to work. Checked my emails. Saw some clients. Had a coffee or 5. Smoked a cigarette or 10. Ate something (Go me! At about 3pm everything felt a bit funny. I was irritated. My phone had run out of credit, you see. But I wasn’t thinking rationally. I was in full blown SHITTY mode. Doubt led to paranoia.
