Life, effects and travel. Saturday, December 01, 2007. October 29, I started work at PDI, the bay area Dreamworks. The building I work in is sick! It's 4 levels of glass and steel, in a corporate office building park, called Pacific Shores Center. That's out on a landfill in the Bay Area. To the south we (on the 4th floor) have a picturesque panoramic view of some salt flats, the bay and the Dumbarton Bridge. And to the north we can see the Pacific Shores Club. Wednesday, July 18, 2007. Marabut, Samar Family Excursion. We went on a VFV sponsored family excursion to a beach called Marabut on the neighboring island of Samar. To get there we had to cross over the famed San Juanico Bridge, the longest (2km) bridge in the Philippines. This photo was taken just after crossing the center of the bridge on the way to Samar. They consciously made the bridge twist like an "L" for "Leyte" then "S" for "Samar". Here is Kenneth getting used to this whole swimming thing.

While we were in Oklahoma City, we went on a field trip to the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. We underestimated how much time we would need to go through the museum, and we were in between basketball games, so we didn't spend as much time as we would have liked to! It was really big, and had alot of neat exhibits! This puma was made out of marble, and weighed almost 2 tons!
