Life Lesson Number...: October 2009

http://lifelessonnumber.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html

Tuesday, October 27, 2009. You ever have one of those days where if you don't get a few personal minutes of freedom (for me it would be running 5 miles or doing something to where I sweat) you feel like your chest is going to burst open, your arms are going to start flailing about and heads are going to roll? And that's the G-rated version! Well that is me today! Bless my dear children's hearts, they just don't know what they have gotten themselves into! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Life Lesson Number...: June 2010

http://lifelessonnumber.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html

Tuesday, June 15, 2010. Lesson #22: Time Well Spent. Yesterday we experienced a warm summer rain all day long. The skies were gray and the intensity of the rain varied by the hour. It was the perfect occasion to curl up on the couch and watch a favorite movie, or dive into a book that had been left to gather dust, until such a day. I chose to do the first. I had borrowed a couple Jane Austin movies from my dear friend and decided to take a trip back in time. On his game system. Soon the movies ended and ...

Life Lesson Number...: April 2010

http://lifelessonnumber.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Fifteen is my magic number today. We only have fifteen days of school remaining! I am counting down, as are my kids, until the final day. We have enjoyed this oasis of time together, but I finally understand how every school teacher in America feels right about now. Summer can't come quick enough. Will I embark on the home-schooling journey again next year? Still in prayer for now. But I would do this year over and over again to have the relationship I now have with my kids.

Life Lesson Number...: November 2009

http://lifelessonnumber.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html

Sunday, November 29, 2009. The Challenge Has Been Issued. Alright folks (faithful few that you are)! I am issuing a challenge to myself and to you. For the next 30 days I am going to do 100 jumping jacks each day prior to getting in the shower. What is the significance of doing this prior to showering? Absolutely nothing. Most people shower everyday (hopefully), and it is an easy time to remember to do this. Why only 100 jumping jacks? So, the challenge has been issued! Links to this post. I have actuall...

Conviction vs. Guilt: Is there a difference? | All Things in Christ

Blogs That I Follow. How I Met Christ. All Things in Christ. My yoke is easy, My burden is light. -Jesus Christ. Conviction vs. Guilt: Is there a difference? Posted on July 30, 2013. Conviction and guilt often get placed into the same basket, along with shame. But do they belong together? I don’t think they do. Guilt is a method of control, no matter what form it may take. It is used by people to convince or drive people into doing, being, or saying what. To quit eating processed food! Change, not an.

Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith. God is a Gift – Book Review. June 12, 2013. Doug Reed is an author who has experienced the reality of truth he writes about. His statements convey in a deep way the Life of Christ using very pregnant words. Doug Reed breathes the reality of Christ as gift to us in a way that only someone who knows Him can. This book is similar in ways to “The Normal Christian Life” by Watchman Nee and in my opinion just as indispensable. The Return of the Gift.

Blogs That I Follow. How I Met Christ. All Things in Christ. My yoke is easy, My burden is light. -Jesus Christ. Normal Jesus. Strange People. Posted on July 3, 2013. I’ve always been struck by the fact that Jesus is a normal guy, like me and you. He isn’t always this shining, full of radiance and glory entity that many of us imagine him to be. In fact, I’m willing to say that more times than not, he’s like a buddy watching the game eating Doritos. Some believe this is what Jesus actually looked like.

This Thing Called Life. Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood." - Ralph Waldo Emerson. Wednesday, January 28, 2015. March 1, 2013. That was my last post. Huh.
