Thursday, October 21, 2010. 38 weeks and holding. He said "Yeah, I mean I think we will just have to figure it out as we go." Not exactly the vote of confidence I needed (i was hoping for a "We'll be the best parents ever! But he was right. I think parenthood is just one of those things you have to figure out as you go. Monday, January 10, 2011. I apologize for being so neglectful in my blog updates. Lydia is growing so so fast! She is two months old already! I can't believe it! Everyday is a new adventure for her. You can see the little wheels turning in her head as she explores the world around her. She LOVES her tummy time mat. She tries her best to talk to the little rotating animals and she kicks her feet like crazy! She is constantly doing something new. Tonight she laughed for the very first time!

Wednesday, December 1, 2010. Wowwhew.what a crazy four weeks its been! My beautiful Lydia Adalene Madi was born on November 3, 2010 at 12:56 pm. I must say it was a very easy labor. God is good! The epidural also helped quite a bit! After six hours of labor my gorgeous black haired girl made her grand entrance. She weighed 6 lbs 15 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. I am so in love with her! She can be a handful, but what newborn isn't? December 1, 2010 at 6:48 PM. December 4, 2010 at 2:30 PM. She is a cutie!

Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Yesterday was my 16 week appointment at the OBGYN and unlike last appointment, they were able to find Baby Cash's heartbeat on the first try! The sound of that little pitter pattering heartbeat was sweet music to my ears! Stephen started on Baby's nursery this week. He moved all the furniture out and began painting and also ripped up the carpet and started installing hardwood (the same kind that we put in our living room. You can see that post here.
