Having got to race on it in 2009 I knew what I was going to be seeing but to be there with a grandstand knowing it was going to be filled to the brim. The Life of 5 Toes. Saturday, August 29, 2009. Why make things simple, it would be boring otherwise! A teammate of mine talked the other day about being in the moment. I understood the comment and the idea behind it but I don't think I have every experienced "Being in the Moment" outside of sport. Is this a bad thing? Am I not enjoying life to the fullest? The Life of 5 Toes. Wednesday, November 11, 2009. The Begining of Another Season. It is fall once again and I have finished one sport and focused on the other sport. The track team went on to bring home 11 medals from the Para-Cycling Track World Championships in Manchester, England. I did not join them, I was in the gym getting ready for the up coming Winter Paralympics in Vancouver, CA. I really haven't done anything all that exciting. Until next time cause I need to go and update my USADA location form.

Almost 2 weeks ago I volunteered at the first ever America For Gold 5K fun run. There were about 10 athletes that showed up to participate. There were massage several therapists on site as well as two chiropractors for the runners to be treated by upon completing the run. Also there bagels and fruit were donated so everyone could have a bite to eat. Thank you for visiting!
