The life and times of a Loomis. Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Today was the last week for Scott's Biggest Loser Comp. at the High School. Turns out he won! First place received $400. Second took $200. I think third won $100 and $100 went to donation. He is super skinny, now it's my turn to lose some weight. However, tonight he ordered: a sub, jalapeno poppers and a pizza all for himself. I had a bodysuit for him and it rubbed his chin raw. Mary found this at Wal-mart in the sporting goods section. It is approved for a boat lifevest. He loves it and swims like a fish. Friday, May 9, 2008. Women of Faith Conference. On April 25-26, I attended the Women of Faith Conference in Columbus. It was one of the most amazing experiences. I loved it. Here are some of the pictures from the weekend and some of the speakers that we heard. I laughed and cried. Every women needs to experience this. It does the heart and soul good. Monday, July 21, 2008. Just some random pics. Mamaw and Jackson up in the back yard. He loves to go up any kind of hill and run down it. He says "weeeeeeeeeee" all the way down. Are these not the cutest little things? Mamaw and Papa bought him a little card table and chair set for Christmas or his Birthday, I can't remember which. No offence but i am literally filled with anger every time i remember there are legitimately people who are rich enough to buy half the globe and then some but the poor are dying because wages will not adapt to inflation and the super-rich refuse to part with any amount of their wealth.
