Life of a Veterinary Student: Block 16 into Block 17
http://lifeofaveterinarystudent.blogspot.com/2011/04/block-16-into-block-17.html
Thursday, April 14, 2011. Block 16 into Block 17. I have truly enjoyed working with horses. WHile I still don't know the lingo or how to lunge a horse, I do know a nice horse when I meet one and totally understand why they are deemed amazing creatures. I hope to have some trail/pleasure horses one day and definitely want to learn how to basic ride. Very good. Nice site and Im glad you are involved in this thanks . June 18, 2013 at 1:23 AM. Life of a Veterinary Student: Only 2 Rotations Left!
http://lifeofaveterinarystudent.blogspot.com/2011/03/only-2-rotations-left.html
Sunday, March 20, 2011. Only 2 Rotations Left! I have mentioned it before in recent postings, but I cannot tell you how odd it is to be happy and sad at the same time with a dash of disbelief on top. I can vividly remember second year feeling as if becoming a veterinarian was a path with an unattainable destination. Well the destination is heading toward me very quickly. Blue Ridge Parkway proximity- a vista, mountain, trail, friendly face at every mile. Roanoke Non-Ultra Trail Series and Roanoke's charm.
Life of a Veterinary Student: July 2010

Thursday, July 29, 2010. Lobby Day with the Humane Society was an excellent culmination of the Taking Action for Animals Conference. My day began by leading some citizen lobbyists from the hotel to the Russell Senate Building. 11 fellow Virginians and I strategized. Puppies. If someone is not an animal advocate, they usually cannot argue the public health side. It was my version of thinking on my feet and again an outgoing moment for me. Show "Hot in Cleveland" spoke out on the ROAM Act. The ROAM Act...

Monday, June 28, 2010. Week 1 in China: A Summary. A list of Chinese habits that are outside my Westernized comfort zone:. Spitting inside buses and buildings. Amusement at animal taunting. Lack of overall bathroom hygiene- the closer they come the louder they yell. Eastern squat toilets and no toilet paper. Rivers of raw sewage running through town. Driving on any side of the road. Lack of English in well- touristed areas. Whole pig carcasses carried by scooter. 8230;to mention a few. I help with transl...

Tails of vet school: breaking into spring
http://vetschoolvolition.blogspot.com/2010/03/breaking-into-spring.html
Tails of vet school. My trials and tribulations as a Vet Student at Texas A&M. Friday, March 19, 2010. This is my last official day of spring break. Though I still have the weekend. I spent this week catching up with my Mom who came to visit. Spending time with my hubby, drinking for St. Patty's day, planting flowers and most of all NOT STUDYING! How long bovine gestation is,. Year in clinics, and in summers on. This summer where I can be back in the real world. It'd be nice to be able to talk to peo...

Tails of vet school. My trials and tribulations as a Vet Student at Texas A&M. Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Until then though, I am up to my eyeballs in finals. Here's the situation: dairy cow (Holstein), 3 months fresh (that means she calved 3 months ago) now has watery diarrhea. So I asked, what ration is she on? Is her milk production down? How's her urination habits? When was the last time she was dewormed? Seriously, probably the most important question.) What's her water intake? Is this a closed herd?

Tails of vet school. My trials and tribulations as a Vet Student at Texas A&M. Saturday, December 12, 2009. During finals week I was pretty selfish. I said "Hi" and "Bye" to my husband but that's about all the conversation I could commit to. I received a Subway gift card from his mom, an absolutely incredible care package from him, and now my mom has gotten me a "post-finals stress massage" hallelujah! So, I did it! Study studying. Stuff like organizing notes, making flashcards, highlighting importan...

Tails of vet school. My trials and tribulations as a Vet Student at Texas A&M. Friday, October 16, 2009. The more I learn the less I know. Overall though I am continually amazed at how little I actually knew before I got to vet school, how much and how quickly I am learning things now, and how I really feel like the more I learn, the less I know. And, I am continually amazed at just how sharp this learning curve called vet school is. I find myself watching "Grey's Anatomy" and "House" with. More complex ...

Saturday, October 25, 2008. High Definition, Low Tech. O I bought a High Definition TV about a year and a half ago and I was living in a place where there was already the typical cable box setup so of course I had to get the High Definition channels. That is the reason I spent over a thousand dollars on a stupid piece of machinery to show me what real life looks like anyway, right? Why not "See it in HD? Ceiling and about a hundred feet (serious exaggeration) from the tv! Here is a link to the Video.

Thursday, June 18, 2009. Maybe I just lose interest. Maybe my apartment is just not quiet enough. Maybe it is the T.V. Maybe I just have a really short attention span. Maybe I have too many social obligations. Maybe I just like going to the bookstore and buying books without the intention of reading them. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The way i see it. Just like any other tuesday. Life of a Veterinary Student. New Blog Alert- Veterinary Brainstorm. What would you do? Friday I'm in Love!

Wednesday, November 24, 2010. I am a window sitter and I am ok with that. I love to fly. I still look up and see planes in the sky and wish I was on them going to the capital city of wherever. I took my sister (who is 18 months younger than me) on her first flight shortly after that. We went to D.C. to visit Niki. And the other D.C. Clarks - which would eventually lead to the D.C. experiment currently running at around 4 years now. Who is going to wanna miss that? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Tails of vet school. My trials and tribulations as a Vet Student at Texas A&M. Sunday, April 4, 2010. He has presented the material in a very organized way, all I have to do is learn it. I know that sounds simple but many of the professors expect you to sort through their discombobled notes, unorganized lecture style, 7 different "supplemental" texts and a hieroglyphic code known only to long lost pygmy tribes to come up with the material that needs to be studied. Life of a Vegetarian Girl
Monday, 27 October 2014. So, I guess I am kind of back from a blogging sabbatical. It has been a busy year for me, I've just completed my masters and I have been working a lot to try and make ends meet. It is hard to find the energy sometimes to maintain a blog on top of everything else. However, I have missed it and I hope you will welcome me back! Links to this post. Saturday, 16 November 2013. When Sophie at SportsShoes. Now, all this came about because Jan Moir (of Daily Mail fame) wrote an article.
Life of an Average Mind | “One day I will find the right words, and they will be simple.” ― Jack Kerouac
Life of an Average Mind. Jul 24, 2014. Its Been a While, Won’t You Join Me. Why do I mention such trivial things? Drenched in so much spiritual growth as I can barely handle myself. I recently found an amazing job, working for Sounds True. For this I am thankful. For this I am grateful. Lets rip the tape off, let ourselves fall, and support each other as we attempt to construct a new body and mind. Share on Facebook (Opens in new window). Life of A Veterans Wife | What I've learned and still have no idea about as the wife, daughter and granddaughter of American Veterans.
Life of A Veterans Wife. What I've learned and still have no idea about as the wife, daughter and granddaughter of American Veterans. May 19, 2014. I guess my point is in a better world, we’d be most concerned with how family impacts the generations that will later take over our empires, our money, our homes, our businesses, our affairs foreign and domestic. We can’t raise good people without dads, without moms, without help, without awareness of mental health issues. Our Brother’s Keeper. April 28, 2014.
