Teaching Chris — will he ever learn? Chris is a teacher who often gets taught…. Newer posts →. I dare you…. March 2, 2012. Today, a grade 4 boy, Nat, was sent to the office for writing on another boy’s pants with marker. Teaching: Nat, did you write on Mark’s pants with marker. Nat: reluctantly Well, yes. But, vindicated someone DARED ME TO DO IT! Teaching: Oh, really? Well, I didn’t realize someone DARED you! Nat: Yup, they did. Teaching: motioning towards cheek Come on, right here. I DARE you. We talk ...

It just doesn't get any better than this...: March 2006
http://bagmarla.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
It just doesn't get any better than this. Here I am in all my glory.enjoy! Where on earth has March gone? So things here have been crazy lately (I know I say that all the time, but I'm being serious each and every time). I’ve been working full-time for the CEYE, which has been a mixed experience so far. You see, at first I didn’t have enough work and I got a little bored just working on the same thing day in and day out. So I decided it would be a good idea to go to the. Also, job interview tips would be...

The Best of What's Around: April 2007

The Best of What's Around. Turns out it's not where, but who you're with that really matters. Wednesday, April 25, 2007. Can you believe it? I am (mostly) done the first year of my Masters. I say mostly because I have a four week rotation in Victoria, BC to do, as well as I have to write a project proposal that is due at the end of May. But since Jeff and I are back in Saskatoon after a two day 3000 km drive through Canada and the US, I feel that I am pretty much done first year. Posted by Rach @ 10:52 AM.

The Best of What's Around. Turns out it's not where, but who you're with that really matters. Thursday, January 04, 2007. Well, I am back in Montreal after a fabulous 20 day break in SK. I had a great time visiting all my friends and family. But, as how most holidays go, I didn't get a lot of relaxing time as I was running from one date to another. It was worth it though.I love my friends. I wish you all a very happy and prosperous 2007! Posted by Rach @ 12:26 AM. Subscribe to Posts [ Atom.

The Best of What's Around. Turns out it's not where, but who you're with that really matters. Wednesday, June 18, 2008. Prior to my trip to Barcelona this spring, I had previously visited this city in March 2000. It was strange and fun to come back to the city. There were a number of times where I would suddenly come upon a street and a memory from when I was 19 years old would come rushing back. Yes, I totally matched it on purpose. I planned my outfit weeks in advance. I am a planner. Well, that is Meg...

The Best of What's Around. Turns out it's not where, but who you're with that really matters. Saturday, May 31, 2008. Oh France, it has been awhile. This is my third time visiting this country and it holds a very special place in my heart. It was the first international destination that I visited at the tender age of 16 - it was my first taste of international travelling independence. I returned at the age of 19 when I backpacked around Western Europe with my friend Cole. So, my first two days in Europe ...

The Best of What's Around. Turns out it's not where, but who you're with that really matters. Tuesday, June 10, 2008. Por favor, hable inglés. It has been a long time since I didn't understand the language of the city/country I was visiting. I almost forgot what it was like to not understand anything that is going on around you (and it made me empathize with Jeff a bit :P ). Blah blah blah (in Spanish)". Perdón" I reply - having no idea what the man is saying to me. It is 9:30 am! What did I just order?

The Best of What's Around. Turns out it's not where, but who you're with that really matters. Saturday, February 24, 2007. Honeymoon, part 4. It has been six months since we went on our honeymoon and I am only on day four. Great. It is almost getting to the point where I don't recall exactly what we did. But, since I started this, I am bound and determined to finish it. Damn, we're cute. Besides waterfalls, we also love Lord of the Rings. Do you remember that scene where Gollum is playing in the ...I mad...
