Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Mom and Mel Take On California. This last week, my Mom, sister Melanie, and nieces and nephew came to visit for 7 days. They stayed with us for three days, then I headed out with them to Pleasanton for four days. My mom had some work training there, so Mel and I took the kids to Monterey, Santa Cruz, and Natural Bridges State Beach during the day. On their way to see us! Heading to the pool with McKinley. Monday, September 8, 2014. Half a year. My baby is half a year. At half a year, Ellisyn weighed in at fourteen pound nine ounces and she was only going up from there! Six months brought so many new adventures for Miss Ellisyn and for mom and dad. Ellisyn even honored her namesake by "riding" a 5k walk for dementia research. She may have slept the entire walk while Grandpa Sargent pushed her, but I'm sure she'll be proud to know that she did a 5k before she could even walk! It's all about the Bennions.
