http://brittneyandchris.blogspot.com/2010/11/birthday-shout-outs.html
Monday, November 15, 2010. So on my birthday I came home to find a thick/bulging envelope laying just inside the door (where stuff lands when the mailman shoves it through the slot). Letter bomb? NOPE Just the greatest gift ever: a rice krispie treat from my AWESOME cousin Shanna! Over the years she has livened up my birthdays with these lucious treats at USAFA, the Canadian Arctic, France, and now New England. Shout out to Shanna: YOU FREAKING ROCK! Chris and Britt: Our new family member
http://brittneyandchris.blogspot.com/2011/03/our-new-family-member.html
Our new family member. Monday, March 7, 2011. Our new family member. So after months of persistent pestering, Brittney finally convinced me to let her get a dog. We found this little guy on petfinder and adopted him from a place in Tennessee. Apparently, there are a ton of dog shelters in the south that target New England. He endured a LONG drive up from his foster home in TN and then Britt picked him up in NH. Asleep after a LONG day. He loves shoes (another thing in common with Britt). Simple template&...

While we were up there we had the opportunity to go to two shows: Dirty Dancing and Wicked. Dirty Dancing was kind of long but still fun. Wicked was amazing! At the set of Wicked. Thanks for the good times Crystal! My family had the ...

Bonjour, Mr. President. Our 30 Seconds of Fame. Neighborhood Block Party-French Style. Sunday, June 22, 2008. Bonjour, Mr. President. This is the only photo we have with one of us and him in it together. June 14, 2008. He said “oh, a young mother! 8221; to which she replied “it’s not my baby! He’s only about my height, which was surprising. He was really friendly with everyone and really knew how to mingle with the crowd. I was really impressed with him. Security was INCREDIBLE! May 31, 2008. We panicked...

Chris and Britt: August 2008
http://brittneyandchris.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Bastille Day, July 14. Saturday, August 30, 2008. August 14-26, 2008. When you have the travel bug, the possibilities are endless! Unfortunately, our supply of money and time is not endless! In order to see a lot of places on a budget (and considering the exchange rate) a cruise was definitely the way to go for our last summer in Europe! Rome, Trevi Fountain. This was a cast of one of the bodies that was recovered. A beautiful town square in downtown Naples. When Chris entered the contest little did he k...

Chris and Britt: May 2008
http://brittneyandchris.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 9, 2008. We had a great time in The Netherlands! We loaded up our VW Polo diesel with food and camping gear (much to Britt’s dismay) and headed off. We arrived at the UNESCO Windmill heritage site just as the sun was going down after about 5 hours driving and 18 euros in tolls. The windmills were gorgeous! Britt decided to get more film footage of the “cute little duckies” in the canal than the actual windmills. Britt and I strolled around the beach at The Hague that night and then went to th...

Chris and Britt: October 2008
http://brittneyandchris.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 30, 2008. I am past the denial. I am a chocoholic! As part of indulging into my addiction, we went to the Saloon du Chocolate! This was probably one of my most favorite events that we have been able to attend while in Paris. It included my top favorite things, chocolate, cooking, and dancing! Fashion Show Clothes on display (We decided not to stay for the fashion show because it was too crowded). Lingerie made from chocolate (how they modeled this one, I don’t want to know). Eating lunc...
