What Worked for Me. Friday, January 3, 2014. Had my first appointment with Dr. A., my awesome OBGYN, on Thursday. It started off awesome as the nurse found the baby's heartbeat right away and without all the drama of last time. Baby was plugging right along with a heartbeat of 152. Last week we hit the 23 week mark and I continue to feel really great. Baby girl is now moving a lot and her kicks and thumps are getting stronger. Scott was able to feel her move for the first time last weekend. Sometimes I can even see her kicking on my belly! Speaking of my belly, it is growing and growing and I love it! Here is a shot at 21 weeks!
