Thursday, December 2, 2010. 2011 Dystopia Reading Challenge. I will be participating in the 2011 Dystopia Challenge! When I used to read a ton, I loved this genre, so I'm really looking forward to getting back into it. I'm starting at the Asocial level (1-5 books,) though, because of all the other challenges I'm doing to get back into reading. The books I've read for this challenge:. Matched by Ally Condie - Finished 1/3/11. Meh. 2 out of 5. I wasn't impressed. By 1/19-27. 4 out of 5. Santa, Clay and Sage.

Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Visit to the Pond. This morning we took a much needed trip to the library. It's one of our favorite places to go. I love that the kids love it as much as I do. After story hour and stocking up on books, we headed home for lunch. What's so neat is that Miss Dainty recognized the call before we even sighted the bird. Saturday, May 21, 2011. Thank you, my friends, for all the support through comments, emails, and prayers. You have no idea how much they truly mean to me. I wrote this in an email today:. Ha, nothing scares me anymore.". It felt amazing to write that. Saturday, February 5, 2011. Hosted by Dutchie at BA Reading Challenges. I'm really trying to broaden my reading horizons this year, especially since I have extra time to read now. The graphic genre is new to me. I never grew up reading comics, although Mr Hubs did (and he loved them.) I often wonder if I missed out on something great. So, I'm looking forward to seeing if I enjoy this genre. I'll be joining in at the Pow! Level (5 comics read.) Although, I'm secretly hoping to get to the next level.

This was amazing because I had spent most of my "getting ready for church" time having a "good morning" conversation on the phone with my mom.
