http://donorfamilynetwork.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
The gift of life. Thursday, 19 March 2009. Holly Needs Your Help on April 7th - new venues. How you can get involved. Donor Day will only work with the help of volunteers - there are currently 15 Donor Desks all over the country on 7th April - could you go along and help on one near you? London (University College Hospital). Not one near you? Then perhaps you could run your own? Either way Holly would love to hear from you if you think you can help. Posted by Aunty P. Are we Human, or are we Dancer?: June 2009
http://veggie-teen.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Are we Human, or are we Dancer? Tuesday, 30 June 2009. Veganism - Day one. I've been vegetarian for thirteen years now, and have always wanted to become vegan - that is, removing all products that come from animals from my diet - but have never had the willpower. After reading another article on the way animals are treated for eggs/milk etc, I decided yesterday to take the plunge - and so today is my first day as a vegan! Anyway, just a quick update! Saturday, 6 June 2009. A lot of reading. And "Noooooo"...

Are we Human, or are we Dancer?: May 2009
http://veggie-teen.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Are we Human, or are we Dancer? Thursday, 28 May 2009. Ah, I've been a bit useless at blogging lately! Things have been so hectic, I'm afraid i just haven't had a time to post, but I'm here now! The reason for the chaos is mostly down to exams; so much revision to do, so little time and motivation! I have been planning a sequel, and a third book too - it seems it will be a series! I've been trying to fit in some reading too (more distractions! And have finally finished 'Extras' by Scott Westerfield. ...

Are we Human, or are we Dancer?: January 2010
http://veggie-teen.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Are we Human, or are we Dancer? Sunday, 17 January 2010. The New Year gets underway. The year seems to be flying by already, perhaps because I have exams this month that I'm dreading - when you don't want things to happen time seems to speed up! So, a quick update on what I've been up to lately. Although it was a day where I usually only go in for one lesson anyway, I'm glad we had it - otherwise I would have had 14 years at school without a single snow day! Wish me luck for the exam tomorrow :D. 3 Try t...

Decisions | CHRONIC POSITIVITY - Life with Polycystic Kidney Disease
https://chronicpositivity.wordpress.com/2013/03/13/decisions
CHRONIC POSITIVITY – Life with Polycystic Kidney Disease. Chronic disease with a positive attitude. March 13, 2013. Decisions. We all make them from the time we get out of bed until the end of the day when we go to sleep. Which shirt should I wear to work? What are we going to eat for supper? Do I drive an extra 5 miles to save a penny a gallon on gas? I chose to get the antibiotic, and ended up with Acute Renal Failure from both the med and dehydration. Did I make the right decision? Good luck and keep ...

Foot Reconstruction A Success! | CHRONIC POSITIVITY - Life with Polycystic Kidney Disease

CHRONIC POSITIVITY – Life with Polycystic Kidney Disease. Chronic disease with a positive attitude. Foot Reconstruction A Success! Foot Reconstruction A Success! December 7, 2012. I made it through my 2nd foot reconstruction with flying colors! As you can see from the pics, the surgeon did a LOT of sewing! I had a similar “reconstruction” done last year, although I didn’t have the hammertoe corrections. For a few weeks, and after that, will only need a hard plastic in-the-shoe orthotic insert. Which was ...

CHRONIC POSITIVITY – Life with Polycystic Kidney Disease. Chronic disease with a positive attitude. Overcoming “Chronic Disease Persona”. June 25, 2013. In a few short weeks, I reach another milestone-my 50th birthday. I’m a firm believer that age is just a number. I’ve seen people younger than me who look like they are older, and elderly people who look much younger than their age. That belief hasn’t been so firm over the past month. It’s easy to slip into CDP. Those of us with chronic illnesses hav...

CHRONIC POSITIVITY – Life with Polycystic Kidney Disease. Chronic disease with a positive attitude. Latest BK Levels and Foot Fix. Latest BK Levels and Foot Fix. February 27, 2013. From a kidney standpoint, I’ve been doing well. I had 3 negative BK urine tests in a row, but the last one 2 weeks ago was positive for 5800 copies. Not bad, but another negative would have been better. The latest big story is my foot reconstruction. The surgery itself was very painful, and the recovery long (non-weight bearin...
