A Breath of Air: February 2006
http://abreathofair.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
A Breath of Air. A journal. Words and pictures. Tuesday, February 28, 2006. I drifted into being a secretary as an aimless young woman, and to my surprise became quite good at it. But I am over-conscientious and easily stressed and do not flourish in offices with unreasonable deadlines and pressures, so when I really started growing up in mid-life I looked around for something else to do. I trained in various types of massage, loved it, and now have a handful of clients. And what do you do? That in Egypt...

A Breath of Air: June 2006
http://abreathofair.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
A Breath of Air. A journal. Words and pictures. Thursday, June 29, 2006. Money, my father and me. My father worked as a poorly-paid local government officer for fifty years. He had two different jobs for two local authorities, one for twenty years, the second for thirty. Why local government work? It had a good guaranteed pension. He never said anything critical because we were both wary of broaching sensitive subjects, but I suspect he disapproved of the wandering lifestyle that I adopted in my early ye...

The Hindenburg Effect: No comment? Life On Earth & Other Accidents, Part 2.
http://thehindenburgeffect.blogspot.com/2006/09/no-comment-life-on-earth-other.html
Of course the Hindenburg exploded. How could it have done otherwise? With that much hydrogen, static electricity, idealism, promise, and live coverage, what else could have happened? Monday, September 11, 2006. Life On Earth and Other Accidents, Part 2. I'll be moving back to my old apartment, Life on Earth and Other Accidents. Until they've repaired the roof, put in the plumbing, and equipped this baby with a telecommunication device (as in, the ability to accept comments from "classic" bloggers). I hat...

From a wild Kate to a Kate conformable. Tuesday, 17 July 2007. All three clocks say 11:11, a lucky time according to Skippy - but then what does he know. A lot apparently. Had our last proper evening together tonight, if together is the right word. He bugs the ass off me. He's pedantic, logical, sensible, predictable. Hasn't a spontaneous bone in his body, runs a mile at questions any more personal than 'can I borrow a pen? Brought to you by Kate. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Gustav Klimt - art.

From a wild Kate to a Kate conformable: If Carlsberg did Masters Courses...
http://fromawildkatetoakateconformable.blogspot.com/2007/11/if-carlsberg-did-masters-courses.html
From a wild Kate to a Kate conformable. Wednesday, 14 November 2007. If Carlsberg did Masters Courses. They wouldn't do them as well as me! I found out last night that I not only got a distinction in my dissertation, but in my MSc. as a whole! And the Christmas markets open tomorrow night. And it's cold and crisp and sunny out. Could this be the best week ever? EDIT: Recieved my favourite chocolates in the post today, courtesy of my awesome sister. 'Best week ever' status confirmed. Brought to you by Kate.
