I’ll Take A Strongbow Please. June 14, 2009 at 11:50 am Posted in London. A long day of travel and getting settled left everyone itching to see the night life that could be found around our little Islington borough. Apparently many of the pubs close around 11 pm or midnight, but luckily a few girls did some research and found a pub just a few blocks up the road that stayed open until 4 am We met in the lobby of our building and marched our way up to The Lexington. A delicious cider made in the UK). You a...

The Important Things From America. February 26, 2010 at 7:10 pm Posted in food. Jelly Belly jelly beans. Kraft Easy Mac N Cheese. I’m talking about food of course! Made a quick trip back to the States from London this past weekend to watch the UGA Women’s Swim Team rock it. At SEC Championships in Athens, GA. Way to go ladies (and well done to the men too)! I then traveled onward to my lovely hometown of G-vegas (more well known as Greenville, SC) for a little birthday celebration and family time. Error:...

Prefering difficulty and ambiguity to ease and clarity. Wednesday, February 10, 2010. I've been back for 6 mo. and it still feels like yesterday! Coaching, Optometry-ing and nannying make up my days now but I can feel change-a-comin. I have a huge itch of traveling right now mostly because I feel like I can't but I know all my brides are happy im around town (Sarah, Jenny, Katie, Valerie, Maritza). I'm a pro. Maritza's is less than about a month away! But first, skiing trip in Aspen!

The key to change is to let go of fear: Curse the curse words.

http://melizabethhill.blogspot.com/2009/03/curse-curse-words.html

The key to change is to let go of fear. This is my first attempt at one of these. I decided to start it based on everything going on in my life, and the things I want to actively change. Monday, March 2, 2009. Curse the curse words. Out with some friends at local joint I found my tongue getting a little lose as the night wore on. Luckily my roommate Lauren. And if you are from the North don't get it mixed up with McDonald's weak attempt). Now, for other goodness. We are planning on packing little and jus.

After a nice Dia de Sant Jordi (somewhat like Valentines day for Catalunya) and an nice rose from "los chicos" in my family. it was time for my BIRTHDAY! Yes, I'm now 24! I had a joint party w friend Romian who has the exact same bday as me. It was the same group of friends I went to Bordeaux which is why we ended up salsa-ing and macarena-ing the night away into the wee hours.

Life on Lamonte Lane

Wednesday, February 5, 2014. This month was full of visitors (which we loved) and our first trip to Oklahoma! Sterling continued to sleep in his crib at night and took all his naps in his swing or rock-n-play. By the end of the month he was sleeping 7-8 hour stretches at night consistently. No complaints here! Weight: 12 lbs, 10.6 oz (47th percentile). Length: 23 inches (35th percentile). Head: 15.98 inches (80th percentile). First time going to mom and dad's favorite…Asian Cafe! Cuddled up with Dad.

Life on Lankford

Thursday, July 31, 2014. This summer, Blair and I had the opportunity to travel to Alaska with a mission group from our church. We went to work at a children's music and arts camp. Sitting here back at home a week later, I still can't wrap my head around the majesty that is so prevalent in Alaska's landscape. I also can't even begin to fathom how dire the need of a Savior is among it's people. As the deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God." Psalm 42:1. Your steadfast love, O LORD...

July 14, 2015. Can we talk about how summer has FLOWN by? I haven’t even had time to get a tan yet (also known as burn, aloe, peel, pinkin’, repeat). These lazy, hazy, crazy days are still here for sure you can tell by the humidity but they are slipping by so fast! And you know what? I LOVE. THIS. PLACE. So I will be stuck in the place where it is summer 9 out of 12 months of the year and need to learn to be happy about it. This season is so long. But isn’t that how adult life is?
