Preparing to be a Big Brother. 1 Get a BIG boy MONSTER room- Matty has been a stud about sleeping in his big boy bed and really LOVES all his monsters. Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Memorial Day Weekend at the Lake. We headed to Bella Vista, Arkansas for Memorial Day weekend! Matty had a great time. He enjoyed spending lots of time with his Nanny Lu and Big Poppy. The weather was perfect. We enjoyed eating on the patio, lots of naps (my favorite), sweeping (Matty's new hobby), blowing kisses, tennis, lots of pool time, more eating, and a pontoon ride. All the dogs came too! Honey) "Bear" missed out on the pic. Must have been sitting on Mom's lap.

Sunday, February 13, 2011. Matty's 1st B-day Party.I LOVE CAKE! Matty celebrated his 1st b-day party with a KU hoops theme and lots of family and friends! It was such a great day! We are so thankful for our awesome support system of family and good friends that celebrated with us and more importantly helped us through the past year. Tony made the awesome Jayhawk cake! And Matty tore into his cake and LIKED it A LOT! We opened lots of awesome gifts and then had lots of time to play with our friends.

Tuesday, January 11, 2011. I think we can officially say Matty the Mover is walking! The tongue comes out anytime he has to focus on something. Any predictions on how he'll shoot a free throw someday? Next I caught the little man hanging out with Rocco by the window blowing kisses to the snow. His smart trike has been a big hit too.
