It all started with ascension day. we had both groups of friends here which added up to 35 adults and 75 children. and to top it off it was raining. we had a blast. we reminisced. and we ate. it took a lot of food. memories were made! 2 weeks later found us at the beach for the week with my sister and her family. more memories were made. there was a total of 16. Fathers day weekend. gave him breakfast in bed. this little guy enjoying some mangos. The seagull having a conversation.

The snow started falling on Thursday evening and first they saying 4 to 6 inches then the changed it to 5 to 8. it snowed thru the nite and the next morning this was what we woke up to. We are thankful that God has blessed us with more great cabin memories! We did end up having a few mishaps but with a crowd this size and children off playing together all day long our prayers are always that God would watch over us all and keep us safe as we enjoy the cabin time together! Tuesday, August 11, 2015. A few rainy days. Ahhh it's so refreshing to the earth here! I quickly got out during the drizzle yesterday morning to put in some new garden seeds! We love the greens and the fall crop is fun to harvest until the frost hits it. We have a big birthday in the house today! The man of the house turns over to the BIG 4-0 today! He says he feels younger then ever though! We are so blessed to have him as the leader of our home! He is so good to us! He is adventurous to say the least!

Friday, July 31, 2015. We had our corn days! We spent one day this week at sis Marilyn doing eight hundred ears of corn for her, mom and Kath. The next day I did three hundred organic none GMO ears for my family. It is always a chore until it's done but it is so worth it when we go to throw the soups together in the fall!
