The week after school was out, we had girls camp up at Sage Hen Reservoir for about 30 girls. I was called to be the Camp Director.It was a lot of fun to be up there with three of my daughters! I had excellent assistants and couldn't have pulled it off without them! Thank you, Thank you, Michelle and Sandra! Although it was a lot of work it was worth all the effort and stress.

This is what was left when I finally thought to go get my camera and take some pictures. Maren scooped up a handful of hail off of the deck. And these have actually melted. Monday, October 11, 2010. Coconut apricot chicken curry. An easy chicken curry that even my two fussy eaters enjoyed. Preheat your oven to 180C. 1kg chicken pieces (I used 4 legs and 4 thighs). Place chicken into an ovenproof dish and lightly salt and pepper both sides. For the curry sauce :. 1 1/2 tsp turmeric. 1 tbsp dried coriander. 2 tsp mild and spicy curry powder (the kids were eating so I didn't want to make it too hot). 3 tbsp apricot jam. 1/2 - 3/4 cup diced dried apricots. 1 tsp mustard seeds.
