Friday, December 9, 2016. Friday I was still battling a cold. Brooke came down with it Wednesday and it hit me the next day. I had a slow morning folding clothes - I haven't been able to get on top of it since we got home last week from our Thanksgiving trip. We pulled it together to get school work done, lunch, and then a trip to the park so the kids could play while I made a work call. A trip to the park wouldn't be complete without a fall and some blood - Brooke was the lucky victim today. March ( 2 ).

This has become the kids favorite tradition. They wake up begging to open the box for the day and each of them take turns. Yesterday their event was to have "snowball" fight! Friday, September 14, 2012. Today I was trying to close the stubborn bi-fold closet door in the hallway. It was stuck on something and I finally gave it a good shove and put all of my weight behind it. The door closed and bounced right back open because my index finger was in the fold of the two doors when it closed. Ouch. The entire tip is numb and swollen. The skin is tight to the touch from all of the swelling. I became concerned enough that I went to the urgent care clinic when Ray got home. May ( 8 ).

The Sydney Symphony Orchestra was in town a couple of weeks ago and Bethany, as a violin student of the Riverina Conservatorium of Music, had a special lesson with them. This weekend, the Sydney Youth Orchestras are here, and they had a morning workshop with Riverina students, followed by a concert in the evening. This is the group from the Con. Saturday, March 28, 2015. Tennis and track season are over so now we move into road season and soccer! Bethany and Toby both have new boots and played their first game on Saturday at 10.30. Bethany is in different colours this year as she swapped clubs. She has played against a team of school friends lots of times and always wished to be in their team. This year we made it happen and she was on the winning team on Saturday! A great weekend, but I am expected even better from next weekend, in Katoomba.

Monday, May 25, 2015. I think it a really lovely thing. Not just the portrait, but the fact that we, as a town, could do this; sit in front of an artist and have this experience, in our town.
