I Love You, Oh Lord, My Strength. Psalm 18:1. Monday, May 12, 2008. Well, here it is Monday after a great Sunday! The Spirit really moved yesterday and I can't say I have ever seen anything like it. I also have to wait a whole year for Mother's Day to roll around. Shouldn't every day be Mother's Day? Tonight is my first show with Premier Jewelry. I am super-excited to get started! He was only 18 months old when we moved to Tennessee. How can it be that he is 9! Surely I am not getting older too? Although I am not a Vols fan, one of my earliest memories was standing outside in our front yard on our 100 acre farm, and singing "Rocky Top" at the top of my lungs! I Love You, Oh Lord, My Strength. Psalm 18:1. Monday, February 2, 2009. Okcan it really be 2009 and February at that? I haven't written in awhile. Today is my Dad's 75th birthday. Happy Birthday Dad! Last year was rough for him as he had heart surgery and several complications. I hope this year is happy and healthy for him. I also just finished our reservations to Hilton Head S.C. We will go in May. Thanks Aunt Margie and Uncle Jim! Had an awesome time last night at our Super Bowl party!

Sunday, July 13, 2008. I haven't written in about a month. I have been so busy! The kids and I went on vacation to PC Beach with my family. We had a great time but I was ready to return home. Jeff wasn't able to go on the trip. He has this big project going on at work for Metro Schools. He is extremely stressed out! Anyway, we return from vacation on July 6. Saturday, June 7, 2008. Monday began with an interview for me at Walter Hill in Rutherford County. I interviewed for a Pre. K Special Education teacher position. The interview went extremely well. Saturday, December 20, 2008. Last Saturday evening, The Journey had a Christmas gathering. We watched The Nativity Story. After the movie, the children performed 2 songs. Abby was asked to sing the beginning of Rudolph. It was her first solo. She did exceptionally well. I'm so proud of her. Here's a few pics from the concert. Abby did a GREAT JOB! Tuesday, May 20, 2008. Did an excellent job with the songs, The Twelve Disciples and Our God is An Awesome God. Each child came to the microphone and told what he or she wanted to be when they grow up. Of course, Abby said that she wanted to be a teacher. I'm so proud of my baby!
