Friday, May 22, 2009. Book of the Month. This month I finished reading "Canine Massage: A Complete Reference Manual" by Jean-Pierre Hourdebaigt. While I haven't read any other canine massage books to compare it to, I thought it was a really great book that was very informative. The first section of the book talks about general canine annatomy. There are illustrated diagrams of the skeletal structure as well as the muscular system from different angles. Friday, June 12, 2009. Ramona Falls Hike and More! The Ramona Falls hike is rated moderate and is a 7.1 miles loop with about 1,000 ft. of elevation gain. I didn't think that it was bad at all! I usually like our "big" hikes to be at least 3 hours long and more like 4 hours. But again, I was a bit sore and not as into it as I usually am. Then Kori and I went up to my room to relax and talk, and we look over at the window and Stella is staring in at us. I am on the third level of this house! Thursday, March 29, 2018. Getting Back To Normal. Slowly but surely, things are getting back to normal. It's taken longer than I would have thought. But I'm also an impatient person who enjoyed living in a world where I thought that it would be no big deal to start walking again after breaking both legs and spending two months in a wheelchair.
