Thursday, July 16, 2009. In Memory of Sylvie. I've never had to put an an animal to sleep. When Morgan died, I was there, and that's not something I ever want to repeat. While this was a little easier, it was still hard to say goodbye. I'll miss you Sylvie. Wednesday, July 8, 2009. Life Lesson #1 with an almost 2-year-old. When I was on the phone with my dad, I said, "Brakston was bad" and he looked at me and said "doggies bad." Sigh.he's just too cute, even when he's in trouble. In Memory of Sylvie.

Monday, December 15, 2008. Tomorrow it will be 8 months that we've been home with Brakston. I reminded Boomer of that on Saturday (the 13 th. Is our Gotcha Day, when he was placed into out arms forever) and he said, "why are you still counting, it's indefinite now." I guess he has a point, but I'm going to keep counting until we hit the year mark, and then we'll celebrate our Gotcha Day every April 13 th. Saturday, June 27, 2009. Here's a quick update until I can take the time to write a longer one. Disney World was a blast, we had a lot of fun and Brakston is still talking about "mouse," "Buzz," and "bus." (For those of you who don't know, he really enjoyed riding the buses to and from the parks). Thursday, August 31, 2006. Aidan, Pops and Buster had a good night in the tent last night. Buster didn't stay long and that was a good thing because apparently his breathing was making the tent hot and I can only imagine the smell.
