A Pastry a Day. Because let's face it, Sugar Lovin pastries make everyday life sweeter. Thursday, October 14, 2010. Apple muffins, and then some. This week, I've begun packing up my first apartment with my fiancee. A month ago, our building sold and since then we've been catapulted into the process of purging, packing, and using up all of our food. It's what inspired these apple muffins I'm sharing with you. So as I was saying, I'm trying to use up ingredients so I don't have to move them. I decided ...

A Pastry a Day. Because let's face it, Sugar Lovin pastries make everyday life sweeter. Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Double Chocolate Boston Cream Pie. One of my favorite treats to make for friends and family are homemade fortune cookies. They are a great birthday gift, anniversary gift, and party appetizer; plus adding a handwritten fortune puts the icing on the cookie! 1 cup Super fine sugar. 1 cup Cake flour, sifted. 3-5 tbsp Heavy cream. 1 tsp Almond extract (can substitute vanilla extract, orange extract, lemon juice and zest, etc).
