This morning we witnessed a miracle. We saw this beautiful Black Swallowtail take the first flight of her life. It was a near miss, too. I happened to notice the butterfly hanging from the branch, already out of her chrysalis and with her wings fully extended and ready to fly very soon. We had just enough time to bring her branch outside, grab the camera, and watch intently for 5 minutes as she fanned her wings in preparation for flight. Monday, February 1, 2010. I have six cousins that I know of. Only one hates pickles. We most all like grapes. Saturday, January 30, 2010. I have many friends but if you count my closest friends, I have about ten friends! Some are crazy some are nice. Friday, January 29, 2010. I love dill pickles, they are my favorite food. Some of my cousins that live near me also like pickles but I love'em. I LOVE PICKLES. I went to St. Thomas when I was five years old. That was my favorite vacaion so far.
