WHAT'S BETTER THAN A DREAM? Friday, November 18, 2011. MILLE GIORNI DI TE E DI ME (DAY 1002). Son arrivato milledue giorni fa. Non scrivo da un botto. Ho una notizia cosi' bella che mi ha fatto quasi piangere. Ma che mi scalda il cuore. Emozionante da pelle d'oca ogni volta che ci penso. E i miei, si, i miei genitori vengono in Australia a fine febbraio. E io torno in Italia nel 2012, per 3 settimane, nel periodo piu' bello dell'anno per il mio piccolo paesino. E un po' di ragazze. E un po' di episodi.

WHAT'S BETTER THAN A DREAM? Sunday, August 05, 2012. NOVE SETTIMANE E MEZZO (DAY 1264). Sto lavorando come un matto, di giorno di notte e nei weekend. Ho caricato questa foto sulla mia pagina Facebook e la didascalia era 'Melbourne by night'. Sto 'sucking that up' (sopportando tutto questo) perchè ho una missione: la mia residenza australiana. Ogni volta che penso a quel giorno, penso che mi ritirerò in quel di Byron Bay per un paio di mesetti a bere mojitos, andare in spiaggia, leggere e rilassarmi.

Quando a scuola, durante le allegrissime e dinamiche lezioni di inglese, la prof. ci faceva leggere "L'isola del Tesoro" con la nostra pronuncia stentata e un'intonazione che palesava la totale inconsapevolezza del testo che avevamo sotto gli occhi, nessuno avrebbe mai sospettato quanto fosse avanti il nostro amico Stevenson veramente. Ma a qualche adulto farebbe davvero bene.
