Sunday, December 22, 2013. The trip home to Utah was eventful. It involved a delayed plane leaving DC, running to catch our connecting flight to Utah(man did I learn how out of shape I am doing that! And a sigh of relief when we finally got home. And boy did it feel good to be home! As much as I grew to love Northern Virginia and DC, I know without a doubt I was supposed to come back to Utah and that feeling was strengthened as the plane landed in Salt Lake. Tuesday, March 10, 2015. I have to admit. I've felt a little guilty lately. While my friends back East have been dealing with snow days galore, we've been enjoying sunny skies and warm temps here. And lots of yellow flowers popping up in my grass. They're not the dandelions of my youth or the buttercups from Virginia. My kids call these "Sourgrass flowers." I honestly don't know what they are, but I think they're pretty.even if they are weeds. And I like looking up at the mountains and the blue skies.
