Life with My Aspie. Day to day musings about raising a boy with Asperger's Syndrome. Wednesday, March 23, 2011. As for schooling, I still deal with the nuances of the administration on my back. However, I finally accomplished getting my Aspie officially recognized as a special education student. Along with this came a wonderful surprise. After completing numerous tests for intelligence, my Aspie scored off the charts and is now being considered for the gifted program. Posted by Life with my Aspie.
Life with My Aspie: how to smile
http://lifewithmyaspie.blogspot.com/2010/10/how-to-smile.html
Life with My Aspie. Day to day musings about raising a boy with Asperger's Syndrome. Monday, October 11, 2010. Most people take smiling for granted. When your picture is being taken the photographer says, "Say cheese! Most of automatically repeat this silly word, eyes open, mouth upturned and belly sucked in. However, for an Aspie, smiling for a photograph is not natural. At the age of 3, I was proudly snapping photo after photo of my darling boy. However, he wasn't smiling so I said, "Say cheese! Life with My Aspie. Day to day musings about raising a boy with Asperger's Syndrome. Wednesday, June 6, 2012. First, a big thank you to fellow blogger, Lauren (aka Crazy Herb Lady), for inspiring me to add to this blog. I have neglected it for a while due to major life changes. However, it is nice to come back to this site as it is like seeing an old friend that was always there for me during my times of distress just lending an ear. Posted by Life with my Aspie. Life with My Aspie. Day to day musings about raising a boy with Asperger's Syndrome. Sunday, June 24, 2012. I am writing this post with a mere two hours of sleep for my weary bones in the past three days/nights. So if I do not make much sense or have grammatical and spelling errors please forgive me. Life has been a traveling circus gone awry inside a big top tent filled to the maximum seating occupancy. Oh, and throw in a tornado crashing through the chaos for good measure. The Grand essentials of happiness are: something to do, something to love, and something to hope for. All the stuff between the last update and now. Eek I suck at completing things! Indy came out of his final remission in July of 2012. I feel like we were really lucky, looking back. He was diagnosed in January of 2011 and ultimately, we were told we would be luck with 6 months because of his prognosis. We managed to get 20 months with him! Expensive treatment with no guarantee. On where you need to draw ...

Life With My 5 Guys In France | Another American family trying to survive in France
Life With My 5 Guys In France. Another American family trying to survive in France. July 4, 2015. Today Superhandsome and I left the house early to beat the heat and go to the hypermarche. In particular, we wanted to grab our favourite dessert to enjoy tonight, an entremet. The grocery store was our second and last stop of the day. We walked in and saw lines like this. Our line was even shorter then this:. We were able to get out of the stores much quicker then the people standing in the regular lines.
A Day in the Life...
A Day in the Life. Friday, November 18, 2011. Last week we went to my oldest son's swim team family bonfire. I called the hostess to confirm she really meant "family.as in the whole. Yep," she said. After the girls had slid down the pole a few times, they asked me to try. So, being the cool mom (not! I wanted to shout, "It hit me in the mouth, you moron! Now that's an interes...

Thursday, 29 November 2012. Too many fishes swimming. My head feels like a small glass bowl for fishes and i think there's too much fish in it. I want to go sleep but i have too many thoughts. Why can't we have a perfect imagination of a person? Every time something or someone seems perfect, there's a factor that totally destroys everything. I know i should be reading but i can't help to feel this way. Sigh. Posted by JTWJ at. Sunday, 25 November 2012. Time will tell i suppose. Posted by JTWJ at. Its exa...

Life with my Bodybuilder | Observations on the bodybuilder with whom I live
Life with my Bodybuilder. Observations on the bodybuilder with whom I live. Now that meet training is over, Chris has found a new focus in life: he bought an accelerometer to clip to his arm when he lifts. (In my initial writing of this post, I wrote: “to clip to. When he lifts.” This error so bothered Chris that, without speaking, he ran into the other room, strapped on his accelerometer –called a PushBand– and demanded we photograph his forearm.). And that’s the update. November 15, 2015. Ok, so the tr...
