Life With The Bartons

Life With The Bartons. Saturday, August 25, 2012. We have made it through our first month as new parents! We have fallen in love with Elijah more and more each day. I am amazed at how this sweet little boy grew inside of me for nine months and is now here with us. I am even further amazed at how much I can love another person who I have just met. Eli has been learning new things everyday, but so have Chris and I. Here are a few things I have learned in the past month:. Poop can project across a room.

Life With The Bartons: It's Getting Closer!

http://www.lifewiththebartons.blogspot.com/2012/04/its-getting-closer.html

Life With The Bartons. Tuesday, April 24, 2012. Well, we are still a few months out, but it is starting to become a reality that we will be bringing home a baby sometime soon. For a while, we would think "We're pregnant! Chris did his share of research and we settled on this one after recommendations from other friends who have the same one. It's great - and I had to buy a sheet to cover up the mattress. Also, I feel like my belly is getting HUGE! April 24, 2012 at 7:55 PM. April 26, 2012 at 1:18 PM.

Life With The Bartons: 10 Weeks to Go!!

http://www.lifewiththebartons.blogspot.com/2012/05/10-weeks-to-go.html

Life With The Bartons. Wednesday, May 23, 2012. 10 Weeks to Go! In real-world timing, we only have 10 more weeks to go until we get to meet our new baby boy! In pregnancy timing, things are starting to feel like they are moving incredibly slow. I think we've built up so much anticipation that these last few weeks are going to seem much longer than they really are. But, things will happen as they will happen and he will be here soon enough! Life With The Bartons: Happy Easter!

http://www.lifewiththebartons.blogspot.com/2012/04/happy-easter.html

Life With The Bartons. Sunday, April 8, 2012. We had our last Doctor's appointment last Friday and all is well! We got to hear our baby's heartbeat again during the appointment. Apparently he did not like us listening because he gave a good kick right as we were hearing him. Things are starting to move quicker now, and we are starting to buy new baby clothes and other things. We've also started reorganizing the guest room and our new crib will arrive this week! Living life to the full in the mountains of North Carolina. Friday, July 26, 2013. 2 weeks at Camp. During our summer months, we spend way more than 2 weeks at camp. We spend every day at Camp Ridgecrest for Boys. But Piper had the great privilege to go to Camp Crestridge for Girls. For TWO WHOLE WEEKS! Away from her family.and she LOVED it. It grew her in ways that we couldn't. She grew in confidence and a love for people and Jesus. Here are some pictures and snippets from her time at camp:. Promote You...

The Berry's: The mind of Lily.

http://theberryclan.blogspot.com/2013/05/the-mind-of-lily.html

Living life to the full in the mountains of North Carolina. Sunday, May 12, 2013. The mind of Lily. I'm writing this post on Mothers' Day 2013. And it's been so fun to reflect on my journey as a mom these past 7 years. I actually think I know less now than I did before my first child appeared in this world. Or maybe that's actually the great wisdom of parenthood: understanding that we really don't understand and can't predict anything. Valentine's boxes.Lily wanted a "little monster". And then theres this.

The Berry's: November 2011

http://theberryclan.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html

Living life to the full in the mountains of North Carolina. Wednesday, November 2, 2011. There are a ton of great things about living in a small town and Halloween is just one of them. The streets shut down and it seems like EVERYONE east of Asheville comes out to celebrate. It's so fun to see all of our friends dress up and to feel safe letting your kids walk from door to door. Here are some of our pictures from the night. Piper dressed up as a farmer for school. Bundled up to walk to school.

It makes for a lot of fun (& clean kids so no bath time at night! It's the simplicity of this game that makes me love it so much and sharing it with these boys was something extra special. Living life to the full in the mountains of North Carolina. Sunday, June 24, 2012. Oh Lily. You are always keeping us on our toes. I'm not sure) that we were going to have Lily play softball, a.k.a. Bitty Ball, this year. We lasted 2- maybe 3 games. She was absolutely miserable. Here are some pictures that document the experience. Her friend on the field.look how adorable they are. Living life to the full in the mountains of North Carolina. Saturday, May 4, 2013. Oh the places they go. Our girls love to be active and they play super hard. However, they are still little girls so they like to dress the part and they do not all mind getting their hands (or feet or faces or legs or hair) dirty in whatever they are wearing. Here are few of their different costume changes for various activities:. Fancy coats thanks to Rosemary and Pauline. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
