Life With The Ek's. Thursday, April 30, 2015. Yesterday, the boys' preschool class took their 2nd (and final) field trip. I took a vacation day to go on the field trip with them. This field trip was "Ag Days" in Inman. Since we weren't traveling as far, we didn't have to be to school until 11am. (Both AM and PM classes went). Life With The Ek's. Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Something Other Than the House. No update on the house, no talk about the house, just something other than the house! Last Saturday, Kyle, Kate and the boys came to town. We all headed to Lindsborg to the Ol Stuga for lunch. Yum! Kyle and Kate drove with Luke and Tyler and Brandon, Will and I rode with my parents. Life With The Ek's. Thursday, July 23, 2015. Ok, you know by now, Thursday's are my days off. These little boogers just make these days so much more fun! Today, I had a lot of errands to run. Tyler and Brandon were awesome and patient! We left the house this morning at 8am and didn't return until after 1pm. We did make a stop at the donut shop for breakfast, and with all the other stops, the boys did get a few toys along the way. I did spoil them more than I normally would! On Christmas Eve, we bundled the kids up, made a stop at Kwik Shop for warm beverages, and took off on a Christmas lights tour around town. Such a small thing, but it was so much fun. I really hope we can find time to continue this every year. After we got home, we let the kids open their one gift on Christmas Eve- always PJs. Right before bed time, we set out milk and cookies for Santa and our elf, Elliott. Crazy hair, don't care.
