26 letters. A million and more words. No limit to stories. The Faces That Don’t Belong. Larissa’s eyes welled up with tears as she came into the living room. He’s dead, Brent. Her voice sounded like she was recovering from a cold. Larissa’s voice screeched. Spooky. That’s who. Oh I was more interested in checking out my friends’ Facebook updates than the death of her pet. I do have to give that fish some credit, though. Spooky was a real trooper and he lasted far beyond his normal years. Get off my back.

26 letters. A million and more words. No limit to stories. The Faces That Don’t Belong. Writing with messianic determination. Wednesday, 21 March, 2012. A few years – decades, even? 8211; ago, I was watching David Letterman and his cheeky gap-toothed New York humour as was the norm of my late nights, and this time, Peter O’Toole was one of the guests on the show. I’ve seen many actors, actresses and celebrities (yes, that’s a third category) on Letterman […]. Read More.». Saturday, 18 February, 2012.

26 letters. A million and more words. No limit to stories. The Faces That Don’t Belong. The anatomy of a writers’ group. Everyone’s a critic, as the adage goes. But it’s especially the case when a group of writers get together and assess, analyze, decipher, dissect and evaluate each others’ writing as if they were students in Grade 10 biology class and they have the chance to cut up frogs and identify all the cool little bits they find inside the frog. Who do you think came out of it with a better result?

Is a man with a hideously deformed face who gains the opportunity to get a new visage, but not in the way you’d expect. Faces are not like kidneys. No one can spare their face that is, until they are dead. Zeke knows he’s not Tom Cruise and is resigned to that fact, but he’d like to have a shot at normal life. Books on the Radio.

26 letters. A million and more words. No limit to stories. The Faces That Don’t Belong. Happy birthday to me. At about 4 am in London, Ontario, in the year of our Lord 1971, out I came with great aplomb. All 8 pounds and some 11 ounces of me, ready to take on the world as we knew it to be at the time. And then The Big Shave. Mean Streets, Taxi Driver and Raging Bull his three great contributions to modern cinema were yet to happen. Neither did I, until today. I’m a writer or I try very hard to masquerade...

26 letters. A million and more words. No limit to stories. The Faces That Don’t Belong. On some days, I see one become alive. Amidst the strangest sliver of slime, he has survived.
