Light - Battenberg Blog. Tuesday, August 4, 2009. Well, it has been a month since the flooded lower level. This week they have started taking out the sheet rock (about 6-8 inches up the wall). They are spraying a treatment on the wood to keep from getting mold etc. Have no idea when it will be finished. Light - Battenberg Blog. Monday, August 17, 2009. Now we have new walls, new paint, new varnish through out the lower level. The bathroom has a new vinyl floor. Wednesday we are supposed to get carpeting and Friday they are going to clean. Then furniture can move back in. It seems like a long time since we have had that space.
