I Speak for the Trees | Lightdance
https://lightdance.wordpress.com/2014/10/21/i-speak-for-the-trees
A Photo A Day. I Speak for the Trees. 8220;I am the Lorax, I speak for the trees, for the trees have no tongues,” wrote Dr. Seuss. Lorax, will you speak for me? Tell Elm and Hackberry I am sorry. Out My Window | Lightdance
https://lightdance.wordpress.com/2014/02/19/out-my-window
A Photo A Day. Lightdance 365, Feb 14 – OUT MY WINDOW. We stayed in a great VBRO house in Ann Arbor last weekend. It is one of two older houses that remain on a downtown street that has been taken over by business and university buildings. Much more fun than a motel room, great for walking to many points of interest, and for window views of an Ann Arbor winter. The first is a porch column taken from the front door. Snowfall in Ann Arbor. How did you end up in that snowbank! Trackback ( 0 ). Comments ( 0 ).

A Photo A Day. March 4, 2014 – Une Perle. Mardi Gras celebrations leave trees dripping with green, gold and purple beads. At Radnor Lake during Mardi Gras this year, Mother Nature liked the idea, but used ice and silver in her decorating scheme. Laissez les bon temps rouler! Trackback ( 0 ). Comments ( 0 ). Frozen | Lightdance
https://lightdance.wordpress.com/2014/03/05/frozen
A Photo A Day. March 3, 2014 – Frozen. Beautiful, yes, but single digit temperatures, freezing rain and wind did some damage at Radnor over the weekend. The icicles are pointing sideways on this tree because it fell over! Poor buds, swelling to pop open in what used to be considered spring, now encased in ice. Frozen and doomed. Trackback ( 0 ). Who I Thought I Would Be: I've Been Away
http://whoithoughtiwouldbe.blogspot.com/2012/05/ive-been-away.html
Who I Thought I Would Be. A collection of thoughts from a closet self-loather looking to make a dent in my blood pressure. Tuesday, May 1, 2012. May 3, 2012 at 7:02 AM. There is no easy sorting out of the emotions you describe here. Even when you prepare for it, and even long for it at times, the finality of death when it comes is a big surprise. It is rare to be able to photograph a view of the spillway when the thinning of vegetation in winter combines with a rain heavy enough to send water over the rim. Also, the poison ivy needs to be in winter retreat so you can step just a few feet off the trail for a better angle. I didn’t, however, say that I actually did that. Edge of the World. Swan Song →.
