O"- la - la. I had the real pleasure to photograph the beautiful Ornella and handsome Omar in the 'vieille-ville de. Last weekend. Geneva really is an incredible city with so many facets to it. No matter how many times and locations I photograph there, it never ceases to amaze me! He gave the most heart-felt speech at the reception that I have ever heard, so much so that there was honestly not a dry eye in the house (including mine) that is one groom's speech that will stay with me forever. Aren't these guys cute? I hope this shows through in the photos, because. It's really the emotions and personalities that for me are one of the most important elements in my photos. A. Most important thing when choosing a spot for your engagement photoshoot, one with lots of variety really helps! As you can see, Laetitia and Jonathan chose the Parc des Eaux-Vives in Geneva, which was just incredible. I knew after such a fantastic engagement photoshoot. With Claudia and Andrew at the Botanical Gardens in Geneva, that their wedding in Corsica was going to be incredible, and it absolutely was! I love destination weddings and really appreciate how much time, effort and love is put into organising them. Australia, China, Ukraine, Japan, India . the list was just incredible of the nationalities represented at this wedding! This was no surprise seeing as Anna and Daniel had come all the way from China to get married in Geneva (a special place to them both) and were surrounded by family and friends. We are not only spoilt with magnificent scenery here in Switzerland, the hotel's are also something to behold. The Grand Hotel Kempinski. When I first met Louise, we chatted over a cup of coffee in Starbucks, Geneva and she expressed a sentiment that I hear from a lot of couples; that neither she nor David really likes having their photo taken! Thank you so much for sending through the photos, I was really looking forward to seeing them and I wasn't disappointed, they are absolutely wonderful. Melissa and Matt had the most amazingly fun wedding in the Château de Coppet. On the 9th July, which just reflected their personalities perfectly. It was also rather emotional, so much so that when they read each other their vows. I nearly shed a tear. The evening extravaganza included some fabulous food and some serious dance moves being displayed in the caves of the Château.there was even a bridal led conga! And Christian had an absolutely sublime wedding day, and I was so touched that they chose me to be a part of it. I have in fact been on a wonderful 'wedding journey' with them both, as they asked me not only to shoot their wedding day, but also their engagement. And civil wedding ceremony. We have become really good friends which made their 'Jour J' even more special for me, and what a great day it was; full of smiles, family, tears, love, laughs and dancing!
