Light Fare: September 2010
http://lightfare.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Food and Photos of Food by the Man of Few Words. Thursday, September 23, 2010. Hot sauce of choice. You can use any sauce you want. I like Steve and Eds Buffalo Wing sauce, because it gives some heat, but my mom will eat them. Homemade sauces can be cooked right in the roasting pan. Just put the ingredients in while the grill is preheating and turn the wings over the first time you put them in the pan. A note on the thermometer:. Now Splashproof). Simply the best cooking thermometer I've ever had.

Food and Photos of Food by the Man of Few Words. Thursday, March 18, 2010. Flying Fish Exit 16 - Hop Heads Rejoice. Wifey and I go to at least three "beerfests" each year and consequently we drink more craft beer than macro-brews anymore. Cherry Hill, NJ (local to me) based Flying Fish. Brewery's beers fill most of my pint glasses, especially since they stated making their Exit Series. An American Trippel and Flying Fish's nearest exit), in 12oz bottles (nice). There's no word on if Exit 11. Rice helps t...

Food and Photos of Food by the Man of Few Words. Wednesday, May 5, 2010. Finger Steaks with Jalapeno Mashed Potatoes. This is another “ stolen recipe. Which also happens to be from Graiziano’s. They serve it as lunch, dinner, or as an appetizer without the potatoes. I like to make it on Sunday’s with fresh bread and meat, and also because it takes a little more time to cook than I have after work. Pot for boiling potatoes. Grill or oven safe pan for cooking steaks. Oven or toaster oven. Two Guys On Beer.

Food and Photos of Food by the Man of Few Words. Monday, March 14, 2011. Flying Fish Exit 9. Making their next exit of the NJ Turnpike, the Flying Fish. Beer bus rolls off at Exit 9 and into the campus of Rutgers University. In 1869, Rutgers beat Princeton in the first ever college football game. To differentiate the teams, Rutgers players wore scarlet hats and handkerchiefs. A "Hoppy Scarlet Ale" and they aren't kidding about either part. Exit 9 is hoppy and scarlet. Thursday, May 7, 2009. Why I love my Blackberry. It helps me find food and beer. Not in that particular order. And did a quick Google search on his Verizon Blackberry 8830. And put the address in Google Maps to see our location relative to the restaurant. Unfortunately Verizon disables the GPS on the 8830 and cell triangulation had us right next to the restaurant, which we weren’t. The third member of our party had an AT&T Curve 8310. Sunday, March 8, 2009. This is how it should be. Anyone who knows me, knows I am a Philly sports fan. I put the games on my calendar so I know who we play each day, and what time and channel the game is on. I have been using Calendar Updates. To download the schedule and manually import it to Outlook, which sync'ed to my Blackberry (or Palm or iPaq in past device times). Ever since Google Sync. That's how it should be, and I hope the Eagles and Flyers add updating schedule calendars next season. Under a ...

Monday, May 23, 2011. My sister delivered her third boy on April 23rd: Ryan Christofer Johnson. Unfortunately, he was six weeks premature. Six weeks premies early usually don't have fully developed lungs, or the instinct to suck to get food. So, Ryan spent the first month of his life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). At the old Virtual Voorhees. Hospital. He came home Saturday, the day before the move to the NEW Virtua Voorhees. Posted by William Wilhelm. Links to this post.
