We have never really learned how important water is to us. We understand it, but we do not respect it. - William Ashworth. Thursday, 18 March 2010. Water is everywhere. H2O: Sea

http://www.lightmywayy3.blogspot.com/2010/02/sea.html

We have never really learned how important water is to us. We understand it, but we do not respect it. - William Ashworth. Saturday, 27 February 2010. I like this image a whole lot. It's got a nice thin line of cloud, a few very small waves in the sea, the light from the sun appears to be green as it shimmers on the water and St. Michaels Mount is but only an outline. We have never really learned how important water is to us. We understand it, but we do not respect it. - William Ashworth. Saturday, 27 February 2010. The one thing I really like about this image is the formation of the clouds and how you can see their reflection in the water. I mean, after all the sea is whatever colour the sky is, and there are some people that probably don't even know that. So I'm kinda rubbing it in your face a bit. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). H2O: River

http://www.lightmywayy3.blogspot.com/2010/02/river.html

We have never really learned how important water is to us. We understand it, but we do not respect it. - William Ashworth. Saturday, 27 February 2010. You can barely see the river in this image. It's as if my main focus had been on the sky, and partly it was. I just loves trees when they appear to be black. There is a lot of negative space which I think works well in this image because you can't see where the trees start and you can't tell how far away in the distance some of them are. One should really use the camera as though tomorrow you'd be stricken blind. - Dorothea Lange. Tuesday, 30 March 2010. 9 My Holga Film. Sunday, 28 March 2010. Today wasn't very eventful. I thought that seeing as three of my joiners already have people in them I would do another one without any. So I stood in my room and went round and round in a circle taking photographs. I didn't move anything so it is quite messy, but oh well, I'm looking forward to joining it up! Friday, 19 March 2010. Oh yeah and I'm...

One should really use the camera as though tomorrow you'd be stricken blind. - Dorothea Lange. Saturday, 3 April 2010. 11 My Meanings And Their Meanings. I have come up with some ideas on my own but for a few weeks worth of photographs I have been greatly inspired by such photographers as: Nadav. For a lot of the portraits I have done I have always heavily manipulated them and I saw Kanders. Tries to show another side to his home, I have tried to show another side to my home. And I also succeeded. Nadav ...

One should really use the camera as though tomorrow you'd be stricken blind. - Dorothea Lange. Tuesday, 20 April 2010. I have enjoyed having to think of 6 different small projects to upload. That was really fun because I could focus on several different things at once, rather than just one. Blog so I don't care ;). I must admit, I didn't enjoy having to write up loads of things about my images. When I upload them onto something like Facebook I never write anything and I. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

One should really use the camera as though tomorrow you'd be stricken blind. - Dorothea Lange. Friday, 19 March 2010. 7 And I Know It Sounds Lame. But for the film week I've strangely decided to take photographs around my home. I'm really interested to see how they have turned out. It doesn't sound all that interesting but I sorta figured 'well, I've done a week of houses you can't have a look inside of, why not take photos of a house you. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Jeff Dunas - State Of The Blues - 1998 -. I especially liked the portraits in this book. When I usually take a portrait image I turn it into black and white. Only once have a done a print in the darkroom and turned it into sepia. Looking through this book has inspired me to try out more sepia portraits. Mario Testino - Let Me In - 2007 -.

From Door To Door. No place is boring, if you've had a good night's sleep and have a pocket full of unexposed film. -Robert Adams. Thursday, 18 March 2010. Okay, so honestly I'm not really sure what my meaning here is. I have attempted to strike up questions such as 'who lives here? And keep the mind wondering. Instead of just looking at the photograph and going 'hmmmm'. In the last image you find out who lives there, but then how do you know that she is definitly the owner? What lies behind it? A room hung with pictures is a room hung with thoughts. - Sir Joshua Reynolds. Thursday, 1 April 2010. Ooh, and the reason I have manipulated my images in this way was because I really admire the work of Daido Moriyama. He's amazing. Gwynnardh, 1 Tregoodwell. Wednesday, 31 March 2010. The fact that there are reading glasses on the shelf suggest that whoever owns these books.reads a lot of books. So in a way, at least to me, this is like an environmental portrait, without the person. Wash It All Away.
