Growth equates to struggle in my mind and body. It terrifies me not knowing where it will take me. The scared child within shivers and says, “but we are fine where we are.”. I’ve got my husband whom seems to not like me and then my sister told me a couple of weeks ago to go “F myself” and she no longer has a sister! April 16, 2015. I’m broken…. With recovery comes knowledge. Recovery allows one to see things through crystal clear glasses and the haze and confusion and bs lies one tells him or herself during addiction/denial can no longer serve us. What do I do? Coping with this has caused a tremendous trigger to drink. My mind would say that being without the glasses was so much easier.
