Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Who are you calling lazy? Combine a newborn, scorching hot weather and a pinch of laziness and you get a really stagnant blog. Yow! After last week's beach adventure, I finally have something to write about. We typically spend a week on the Isle of Palms every year to pretend that we still live in Charleston. Normally its much earlier in the summer (and oppressively hot) but we opted for the end of September this year. WIN! My board. surfing is simplicity.

I do think about it from time to time, but I'm not so good at actually posting. But here I am. Kate made it to KINDERGARTEN! I couldn't miss sharing that, now could I? She was SO excited to finally be going to the big school! I think her book bag was bigger than her. A picture with mommy before we left. I got a little side tracked after that last post, but I couldn't just leave you hanging - you've only seen 1/3 of our summer! Kate and I continued our lunches on Friday. I miss those. She always got a Starbucks cake pop after Chick fil A nuggets - we are lucky that both of those restaurants are located in the atrium of the hospital, and she was located right across campus. Oh, but there was plenty of this.
