With the 4th being on a Saturday we didn't get near enough time with our niece and nephew, but we sure enjoyed the few days we had with them and Steve/Helen! Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Time with my roomie! This blog post makes me soooooooo very happy! Candace was my college roommate and best friend! We've lived together, traveled the world together, made incredible memories and created a lasting friendship that is so dear to me! We stood by each other on our wedding days and hugged each other so tight as she left her reception in New Orleans with her new hubby.that was July of 2007. 8 years later we hugged again! We promised to never let 8 years happen again!

Monday, August 25, 2014. August is always a fun filled month for us as we celebrate both Phil and I's birthday! We ate dinner and made 3 batches of homemade ice cream in the driveway with the neighbors! We went out to dinner with friends at a delicious restaurant. We opened goodies, hung out at the pool and had dessert with family! Phil and I also snuck in a date night with just the two of us for another yummy dinner! I cooked our Mardi Gras dinner last night so YOU could read the post today and get some ideas for your own Mardi Gras dinner tonight. Muffaletta Finger Sandwiches, Shrimp Creole and a Mardi Gras Salad with a Creole Vinaigrette. Serves 8-12 as an appetizer, 4-6 as lunch. Cup red wine vinegar.

Wednesday, July 8, 2015. We have an incredible, awesome, silly, loving, caring, fun, dedicated, hard working, God loving daddy! He gives 110% 365! So thankful for the daddy he is to our two lil' fellas! Thankful for my own daddy that loves unconditionally and gives his time to us and the boys so willingly. (no picts from our father's day celebrating, but we enjoyed grilling out and homemade ice cream per Papa T's request) :). The day before Father's Day was Ashley's (our niece) birthday!
