DIY Leather Tassel Keyring

DIY Leather Tassel Keyring. This is a little DIY I’ve been dreaming up for a while, but I had a hard time deciding on the simplest way to make it happen. I’m pretty sure I figured it out, so this one is as easy as can be! If you want to make one (or seven, like I did because I just couldn’t stop), gather your materials:. Start by cutting two strips of leather — one that measures 3″ by 1/4″, and one that measures 10″ by 3 1/2″. Starting at one end, apply glue and affix the short strip with the keyring.

There's A Thread. A lifestyle and craft blog. I bet a lot of you saw Nicole’s Star Dresden Tutorial. A few weeks ago, right? Wasn’t it great? I knew I had to make one right away. I have to confess: for whatever reason I’m not really drawn to the traditional Dresden block. But something about Nicole’s idea of making the. Don’t you think? I modified Nicole’s instructions slightly to make twelve petals instead of thirteen. The template I used is here. I had to buy more of the binding fabric to redo it, beca...

http://www.ramblingsbyrach.com/2013/08/a-relaxing-weekend-finally.html

We have been camping, to festivals, had visitors twice, visited the farmers market multiple times and tackled various house projects. I've been feeling pretty burnt out. Thankfully, we didn't end up doing much this weekend. Ialso watched a fair amount of trashy tv and finished reading Revenge Wears Prada. Being a big fan of the first book and the movie I...

52 Thank Yous: November 2013
http://fifty-twothankyous.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 21, 2013. Week Eight: Accepting Gratitude. A few times at work last week I caught myself responding to Thank-Yous with "no worries" or "of course". I am not sure what made me catch myself and start noticing a pattern, but once I did I couldn't help but notice this wasn't a very grateful way to respond. I have been trying so hard to be grateful and appreciative that I have been dismissing other people's gratitude! The first was an article called "Why You Shouldn't Say 'You're Welcome'".
