Click image to enlarge). As a child, barefoot in the setting summer sun, I spent hours upon hours running around the backyard capturing fireflies. I remember finding jars and having my mother punch holes in the top so I could collect them. Little did I know that bugs don't last very long that way. Posted by denise @ 11:50 AM.

Caz Williams
http://cazwilliams.blogspot.com/2012/04/this-was-just-quick-one.html
Thursday, April 26, 2012. This was just a quick one . I wish I had more time! I traced this one from my sketch book onto watercolour paper. I then coloured it using a graphitint pencil and water. I then added MORE pencil but was too impatient to wet it again! So I have a bit of a rough effect in the darker areas. I then added the footpath, grass and background in Photoshop. Bless He is a cute little runner. May 5, 2012 at 1:04 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Http:/ www.cazwilliams.com.

Caz Williams: May 2010
http://cazwilliams.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 11, 2010. Hello to anyone who happens to check in after the big event NaPiBoWriWee 2010 has ended! I hope you enjoyed the challenge and are still on cloud nine. Congratulations to the winners of Paula's random prize draw! No, I'm not bitter that I missed out. I'll just have to get my credit card out and buy my own NaPiBoWriWee 2010 memorabilia, right? I had just finished brushing my teeth and declared to myself that I was in need of some 'me time'. Within seconds an idea for a picture bo...

the rachel papers: December 2013
http://rachel-power.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Writing, art, motherhood and everything in between. Sunday, December 8, 2013. Currently on in Sydney is an exhibition. That the artists say has taken its name from my book. When they contacted me to ask if they could name their exhibition "The Divided Heart", I had to move beyond a fleeting sense of possessiveness and remind myself that before the book was printed, it was my publisher who said: "I've found the name of this book; I think it's "A Divided Heart". The Divided Heart" is a group exhibition abo...

Writing, art, motherhood and everything in between. Monday, August 25, 2014. The art of learned selfishness. I still have a strong memory of the day a lecturer stood in front of my art history tutorial to declare that, to date, there had been no great women artists. But I was also genuinely troubled by the question. Are there really no great women artists? What makes an artist "great", anyway? Or, more to the point, what enables an artist to become great? I began doing some research about the lives of th...

the rachel papers: January 2015
http://rachel-power.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Writing, art, motherhood and everything in between. Saturday, January 31, 2015. In the spirit of full disclosure: why money matters when it comes to art. I have always enjoyed the company of people who are willing to be candid. Perhaps because candidness tends to require other traits that I admire: self-reflection, generosity, self-deprecation, openness…. And if you’re going to publish a book of conversations, the last thing you want is a book of “polite conversations”! Yes, people can overcome all manne...
