Tuesday, October 27, 2009. It's a Wassy-ton Mom-u-ment! Here are a few pictures from one of the last nice days we had. We took Nathan to see animals and dinosaurs at the Museum of Natural History, but he was just as interested in the "tall, tall tower.". This trip was also the first time Nathan seemed to grasp the idea of standing still someplace and smiling at the camera. Here he is practicing his politician pose. Oh my gosh.he looks so big now! Tuesday, March 11, 2008. It's hard to believe that my buddy is six months old already. It seems like only a few days ago that we were still arguing about whether the baby should be named Starr, Tristan, or Ebony and now we can't imagine him being anyone other than Nathan. What a huge change in six months. What a huge change in our lives. Not as tough as he looks. Compare these pictures to the ones from when Nate was a newborn. He's not so easy to carry around anymore. Friday, October 31, 2008. Curious George went out and collected candy for his Dad from all the neighbors. Unfortunately, he frequently chose Bazooka Joe bubblegum and Hannah Montana candy bracelets over M&M's and Kit Kat bars. Friday, October 24, 2008. The baby swing out back is pretty crowded and we often have to wait for a turn, but it's worth it. This was the scene of the terrible hay ride. After a couple friendly moms at the library called Nathan a cute little girl (even after hearing his name was Nathan), we decided to change the haircut and switch to more masculine clothes. I never thought he looked like a girl, but the Summer haircut does seem to make him more aerodynamic. His cross-carpet scooting times have been much improved since the change. He is saying Da. Or La-La-La. Believe what you want. Even carpet commandos need some time for R&R. At the Big Table.

Everybody is home from the hospital and doing very well. Shortly after birth, Ashley is snuggled up nice and warm. Trish is very excited to be the first to hold Ashley. Dad takes advantage of every opportunity to hold "daddy's little girl". Brandon brought flowers for mom and a teddy bear to his new sister.
